POKOTABI / Book Lounge Kable
Book Lounge Kable(ブックラウンジ カブル)
Located inside KABUTO ONE near Kayabacho Station, Book Lounge Kable offers a timed stay with free-flow drinks, satisfying meal plates like hamburger steaks, fresh donuts, and craft beverages for reading or remote work.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Spending time surrounded by quiet rows of bookshelves provides a refreshing escape from daily routines. Perched on the third floor of the KABUTO ONE complex in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, Book Lounge Kable operates on a timed-stay system with complimentary free-flow drinks, inviting visitors to unwind while enjoying light fare and desserts. A major draw of the space is its reassuringly substantial food menu, designed to keep you well fed between stretches of reading or focused desk work.
During lunch hours from 11:00 to 14:00, the lineup features hearty options like a hamburger steak plate—with the option to switch to multigrain rice—a rotating Weekly Plate, and a rich carbonara with thick-cut bacon and a soft-poached onsen egg. If you prefer something lighter, there is a ham and cheese sandwich set served with soup, while afternoon hunger can be met with all-day dishes like butter chicken curry or a shirasu (whitebait) and shiso leaf peperoncino. Small bites such as French fries and mixed nuts are also on hand, making it easy to graze while working through a task.
When it is time for an afternoon treat, freshly fried donuts, seasonal varieties of cheesecake, and canelés pair naturally with a quiet break. Beyond the self-service free-flow drinks, you can order specialty beverages such as house-made craft ginger ale, craft cola, and café lattes. As evening approaches, immersing yourself in the written page with a glass of Heartland beer, a highball, or a craft highball makes for a relaxed transition into the night.
The lounge is well equipped with free Wi-Fi and power outlets, providing an accommodating setting to concentrate on solo projects or research without distraction. Cashless payments are smooth and straightforward, accepting major credit cards, transit IC cards, and QR code payment apps. In the midst of the Kabutocho financial district, it serves as a welcome haven when you want to settle into your own rhythm over a satisfying meal.
